“PRESERVING ART TOWARDS HERITAGE”
OBJECTIVE
- Preserving the culture of Dikir Barat as a tool for unity.
- Providing exposure and guidance to UPSI students who want to learn about the art of Dikir Barat
- As an added value to UPSI students after graduation.
CLUB ACTIVITIES
- Weekly training (Dance movements, Vocals, Tempo and Traditional Music Beats, Jogho and Karut songs).
- Performances inside and outside the university.
Competitions in Dikir Barat at the IPT and NATIONAL levels. - Training and performances with Dikir Barat artists in Kuala Lumpur.
VISION
- Aims to preserve the Western Art of Dikir to the community so that it can be instilled into future generations.
- This club provides exposure and guidance to all UPSI students who are interested in the Western Art of Dikir.
- As an added value to the UPSI residents when they finish studying soon.
